Who are Fresh Physio
Set up as Fresh Physio Ltd in December 2012, Sarah Cox has been qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist since 1997.
Having previously gained a joint honours degree in Physiology and Psychology from Cardiff University, she trained at Middlesex Hospital and UCL for 4 years with a full module of hydrotherapy including a two week placement at Bath as an undergraduate.
A passion for rehabilitation in water was born and has continued throughout her career, from working in large teaching hospitals in London (Barts and The Royal London Hospital Charing Cross) to setting up her own private practice HydroActive Ltd.
Sarah has also owned Wimbledon Physiotherapy Clinic and managed the physiotherapy department at The New Victoria Hospital in Kingston, before relocating to North Nottinghamshire and working from the current pool in Retford, resulting in a bias towards aquatic physiotherapy.
A passion for neurological and older people rehabilitation also involves taking a patient holistically as there is rarely just one thing that is wrong.
Looking at all aspects of health and function are a priority to Sarah, as is working closely with case managers and as part of the multidisciplinary team surrounding a patient with more complicated rehabilitation needs.
